MANEET CHAUHAN AND THE MOCKINGBIRD HOST AUTHOR MARY-FRANCES HECK FOR A HAPPY HOUR AND BOOK SIGNING TO CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF NEW COOKBOOK DEVOTED TO SWEET POTATOES
Maneet Chauhan and The Mockingbird
On Monday, September 18, cookbook author Mary-Frances Heck will be at The Mockingbird for a book signing and happy hour to promote her newly released book, Sweet Potatoes: Roasted, Loaded, Fried and Made into Pie. A friend of chef Maneet Chauhan, Heck is a food writer, recipe developer and chef based in Denver, Colorado. Her newest project explores both the sweet and savory sides of sweet potatoes with low-maintenance recipes for everyday eating via 60 globally-inspired dishes found in the book.
From 5 to 7 p.m. guests can stop by The Mockingbird’s upper patio to purchase signed copies of the cookbook and mingle with Heck. Tickets for the event are $10 and include bites and signature cocktails. Guests will also be able to order from the happy hour menu, if desired.
