CHEEKWOOD HOSTS FOURTH ANNUAL SONGWRITERS UNDER THE STARS
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The critically acclaimed symphony show, Music City Hit-Makers, returns to Cheekwood’s Swan lawn for the fourth annual Songwriters Under The Stars. The two-night concert series will take place August 25 – 26, and will feature some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters including Kyle Jacobs, Jessi Alexander and Marcus Hummon on Friday night and Hillary Lindsey, Rivers Rutherford and Chris DeStefano on Saturday night. The songwriters will perform their chart-topping hits with the Music City Symphony.
“This event is so special because it brings harmony to two of Nashville’s greatest assets, its talented musicians and beautiful landmarks,” says Charles Dixon, event creator and producer. “We are thrilled to have so many amazing songwriters joining us for our fourth event.”
Frequently described as “the most famous people you’ve never heard of,” the Music City Hit-Makers consist of writers who have penned hits for Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, George Strait, Kelly Clarkson, Wynonna Judd, Reba McIntyre, Celine Dion and many others.
