NASHVILLE (March 17, 2016) – Tickets are now available for Music City’s most talked about culinary event, Savor Nashville, benefiting the James Beard Award Foundation and Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee. A wave of talented chefs will arrive in Nashville this spring to the delight of foodies who have been patiently waiting for the annual event’s return.
“Nashville is a shining star in today’s culinary landscape, and we are really excited about coming back to Music City,” says Jeff Black, Director of the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour. “We have an amazing lineup of chefs for this year’s dinner and their food promises to be an exhilarating experience for the taste buds.”
The James Beard Foundation sanctioned event will take place at the Hutton Hotel on Thursday, April 28. Guests of the 2016 Celebrity Chef Dinner can expect a welcoming cocktail hour, an inventive six-course dining experience with wine pairing from Healdsburg, Calif.’s Jordan Winery and entertainment from indie rock band, “The Roosevelts.” The evening is bringing the nation’s top talent together for an unforgettable dining experience. Beginning and ending the evening is host chef, Executive Chef Jake Strang of Nashville’s 1808 Grille. Chef Strang will be joined by eminent talent including James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Midwest 2014 Justin Aprahamian, Sanford Restaurant (Milwaukee, WI), Steve Phelps, Indigenous (Sarasota, FL), Hosea Rosenberg, Blackbelly Market (Boulder, CO) and James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Southeast 2016 Jason Stanhope, FIG (Charleston, SC).
As the setting for the Savor Nashville, the Hutton Hotel is the premier boutique hotel in Nashville. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit the James Beard Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Savor Nashville will be held at the Hutton Hotel located at 1808 West End Ave, Nashville, Tenn., 37203, on Thursday, April 28, beginning with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $165 per person and include dinner, wine and tax and gratuity.
