Hermitage Hotel Double H Farms
At the historic Hermitage Hotel, look for an increased focus on locally raised produce and meats, thanks to the hotel's recently opened Double H Farms - a 245-acre working estate in nearby Dickson County. The growing Double H beef herd will supply the hotel's Capitol Grille with meat, while the gardens will provide vegetables.
This spring marks the arrival of Husk Nashville - the second U.S. location of Sean Brock's celebrated "new Southern" Charleston eatery. Set within a restored 19th-century redbrick townhouse, Husk's Tennessee debut marks Brock's return to a town he lived in for nearly three years.
Music City Center
Nashville is primed to welcome nearly half a dozen new hotels in 2013. The most anticipated will also be the largest: the 800-room Omni Nashville, the anchor hotel of the massive $625 million Music City Center project. Just next door is the Country Music Hall of Fame, currently in the midst of a $75 million expansion.
