CONCACAF Gold Cup Soccer in Nashville
It's easy to see Nashville loves soccer. A record 47,622 fans showed up for the Gold Cup game between the USA and Panama on July 8, 2017, making it the largest soccer match attendance in the state of Tennessee! Then, 3 weeks later a new record was set when 56,232 fans came out to see the International Champions Cup ft. Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
So, it should come as no surprise that Nashville will welcome the Concacaf Gold Cup once again in 2019! The Concacaf Gold Cup is the premier regional soccer championship that crowns the best national team in North, Central America and the Caribbean, featuring some of the hemisphere’s best players and teams. Complete groups and schedule for the summer 2019 event will be announced next year.
