The Hall of Fame recognizes musicians of all genres. Among the museum's artifacts are numerous instruments played on legendary sessions. The actual stage from the Jolly Roger club in Nashville's Printers Alley, where Jimi Hendrix frequently performed, is relocated inside the museum. The space also contains a gift shop, a mini-theatre for film screenings, a 5,000-square-foot performance hall, a school of music and a recording studio (under construction).
