The Arts Company
The Arts Company is a prime destination in downtown Nashville for fresh, original, contemporary artwork in photography, painting, and sculpture, by artists from emerging to legendary. The Company adds new artwork and introduces new artists during FirstArt Saturdays every month, 6-9 pm. In addition, a new monthly series has been added to these monthly receptions scheduled throughout 2008 - The Art of Books, a showcase for new and vintage books related to the arts. The Company's various gallery spaces - over 6000 square feet on two floors in a historic building - include a downstairs gallery, and an extensive inventory of artwork, books and other galleries upstairs at The Arts Company, designed especially to develop exhibits and projects for public and office workplaces. http://www.theartscompany.com

Cheekwood

Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum
The Hall of Fame recognizes musicians of all genres. Among the museum's artifacts are numerous instruments played on legendary sessions. The actual stage from the Jolly Roger club in Nashville's Printers Alley, where Jimi Hendrix frequently performed, is relocated inside the museum. Nashville Opera
In September 1997, Nashville Opera merged with Tennessee Opera Theatre and the Nashville Opera Guild becoming Middle Tennessee's largest professional opera organization, the Nashville Opera Association. In a typical season, the Opera produces four main-stage productions and a six week education tour to area schools, conducts a three-month residency Young Artist Program for young professional singers, and produces numerous community outreach programs.

The Parthenon
The world's only full-scale reproduction of the famous Greek temple, Nashville's Parthenon stands in Centennial Park and features both the city's art museum and Athena Parthenos.
