If cities had soundtracks, Nashville’s would be like no others. It would be a mix of music’s past, present and future with cuts of country, bluegrass, rock, pop, Americana, gospel, classical, jazz and blues, all blending and overlapping in perfect harmony. Whether it’s a young singer with a guitar slung across his shoulder, music ringing from the rafters of the historic Ryman Auditorium, or the high-energy pyrotechnics that accompany performances by today’s hottest stars, most everyone thinks entertainment when they hear Music City. You cannot escape it; music is the very heart of Nashville.
