Historic RCA Studio B - Located on renowed Music Row, Studio B is one of Nashville’s oldest remaining studios. With a repertoire of over 35,000 songs recorded by artists such as Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley and, even more recently, Marty Stuart, Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood, Studio B presents an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience.
The star treatment is what Nashville does best, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum brings it all together in Star for a Day: The Ultimate Nashville Tour. Your group’s experience begins with a personally-guided tour of Historic RCA Studio B, “Home of 1,000 Hits.” Groups participate in an actual recording session standing right where Elvis himself stood to record over 200 songs. Then it’s off to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to hear rare recordings of country’s legendary performers and see costumes, instruments and personal treasures from country music stars, past and present. Next, your group heads a few blocks north to enjoy a home-style barbecue buffet and line-dancing lesson at the world famous Wildhorse Saloon. Here, everyone will be delighted one more time by listening to their “latest hit” over the restaurant’s incredible sound system.
There isn’t another experience for your group that’s more uniquely Nashville than Sharing the Art of Songwriting. Your group joins one of Music City’s most accomplished writers for an hour-long session on the craft of songwriting. By offering personal insight and direction, the writer guides your group in creating an original song, which the songwriter records with the group at the end of the session.
Stories Behind the Songs: A Private Look, a 45- minute backstage look at the craft of songwriting, this experience gives your group the undivided attention of one of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters.
Legends, Lunch & Lyrics invites groups to enjoy a classic Southern “Meat n’ Three” lunch as they are entertained by the songs, stories and writing insight from one of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters.
