What's new for Nashville's Food Scene
In Music City, new restaurants are opening up all the time, and most places change their menu each season. It can be hard to keep up with all the new happenings in Nashville's growing food scene, but not any more. Now stay up to date with what restaurants are coming, just opened, now closed, and the latest menu updates.
Bakersfield is a new Mexican restaurant open in Nashville's SoBro district.
Dino's Restaurant in East Nashville held its official opening last Friday, January 9.
Sip Cafe, a coffee shop, is now open in their new location at 3939 Gallatin Pike.
Serving lunch and dinner daily is Nama Sushi in Midtown. The two-story restaurant with a menu that includes appetizers, salads, entrees, traditional sushi rolls, vegetarian options, and a "hot nama" section.
What was Zumi Sushi is now Lucky Belly. The restaurant located in Hillsboro Village has been renovated to feature both American and Japanese food including milkshakes, burgers, and sushi.
A new craft beer brewery called TailGate Beer has opened in Nashville on Charlotte Pike. They have a tasting room that is open daily.
Prima is now open in The Gulch featuring a great restaurant space, a diverse menu with Mediterranean cuisine, and an inspiring wine list.
TailGate Taproom just opened off Charlotte Pike in Bellevue. The taproom will feature a draft and growler filling system with 20 taps.
Magnolia South is a new restaurant located in Midtown featuring southern cuisine with a twist of French influence.
Uncle C's New Orleans Style Fried Chicken
Now open in Nashville is Uncle C's New Orleans Style Fried Chicken featuring hot chicken items in four different heat levels: "wise", "risky", "absurd", and "tomfoolery".
Sam Katakura, former owner of Sam's Sushi Bar, opened his new sushi outpost at ACME Feed & Seed. It is located on the second floor and open 5-10pm daily.
Love, Peace, and Pho
Love, Peace, and Pho have opened their doors in the 8th Avenue South neighborhood. The menu features a bunch of classic choices plus a selection of bowls of Pho, the popular traditional Vietnamese noodle dish.

BUTCHER & BEE
East Nashville will gain a popular chef-driven sandwich shop based out of Charleston, S.C. entitled Butcher & Bee. The restaurant hopes for a late summer or early fall opening. Read more from The Tennessean.

VILLAGE MARKETPLACE AND BREWERY
Sam's Sports Grill purchased the former home of Boscos to open a brewery and marketplace called Village Marketplace and Brewery in Hillsboro Village. Read more from the Tennessean.

JENI'S ICE CREAMS

Chauhan Ale and Masala House

Texas de Brazil
