Meeting Planner Testimonials
Corporate
“I
have been in the meeting planning business since 1980, producing
meetings that range in size from 10 to 2,000 attendees, in five-star
resorts, airport hotels and everything in between. Working with the
local CVB has always made my job a great deal easier, and this has been
exceptionally true with the Nashville Convention & Visitors
Bureau.
In fact, the Nashville CVB was largely responsible for us
deciding to
stage our 2011 and 2012 conferences in Nashville. I particularly like
how the CVB staff are so effective in delivering a team approach for us –
the city, the hotel, the off-site venue – all working together to help
make our event planning and execution flawless. The professionalism
of both the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau and the
Nashville
Renaissance made me look great and certainly made my job much easier.
Their attention to detail is fantastic, and their professional and warm
attitudes and genuine concern is most refreshing.”

“We
just completed our 2012 Annual Convention & Trade Show and
broke
all attendance records with more than 8,200 attendees in Nashville! The
Convention & Visitors Bureau was awesome to work with and was
always
very responsive to our every need. Being in Music City gives the CVB
the unique opportunity to plug in to the local country music talent, and
they were able to provide us with great promotional materials, both
print and voice, helping to create the excitement and build our
attendance for this convention. Nashville is a great convention city and
one that will remain in our rotation of cities for many years to
come!”

“Nashville
has been a great destination for the HOSA National Leadership
Conference. Our attendance records are broken every time we return to
Nashville, which speaks to how our group feels about Nashville as a
destination. We will be returning there in 2013 and 2016, and look
forward to successful events with the help of the Nashville CVB and the
Gaylord Opryland Hotel.”

“The
Nashville CVB provided resources that assisted in the preplanning of
our national meeting. The CVB informed the local businesses about our
event, which provided our attendees with a welcome feeling.”

“We
want to thank the entire Nashville CVB team for your help in making the
2011 Women’s Half Marathon Nashville event a huge success! It has been
such a pleasure working with you, and we look forward to continuing the

“I
had to write to let you know of the great job your staff did for the
USEA. The material to go into our members’ packets along with the
wonderful service that you provide was above and beyond – it was like
talking with a good friend. However, what really made our convention
different from past years was arriving at the airport and seeing the
convention sign that read: Nashville Welcomes the USEA with our logo.
That was SPECIAL. I was tickled pink.
Thank you all for a
wonderful job. My group had an amazing time in Music City, and Nashville
made us feel very welcome. Thanks again for all you
do.”

“We
were looking for a destination to host 2,000-plus of our group leaders,
and it was really important that we find a place that our ladies would
be able to enjoy during their downtime. The Nashville CVB did all the
legwork and gave us two great, affordable options. They walked through
the whole process with us and, in the end, the event was a huge success.
Gaylord Opryland was the perfect place for our group, and we would love
to return to Nashville again in the future!”

“The
National Black Child Development Institute hosted our 41st Annual
Conference in Nashville. With more than 1,200 attendees, it was truly a
priceless event! The success of the program was largely a result of the
wonderful partnership with the Renaissance Hotel and Nashville
Convention Center and the entire Nashville CVB team! We thank the CVB
for your attention to detail and untiring focus … resulting in a
flawless event for our attendees. We appreciate your commitment and
support and for going above and beyond by attending a conference
session. Thank you for letting us take full advantage of your wonderful
city.”

“To
sum it up, we picked Nashville because:
Past experience
(2007) had excellent results in corporate and engineering attendance,
and our evaluations of this conference were excellent.
Amount
of hotel inventory is now perfect for our group, adequate and abundant
for growth, but contained enough to keep our constituents in
block.
The new convention center expansion timing was
perfect for us. We could not have come back without extra space and more
hotels.
Service from convention center was outstanding in
2007, and we expect the same in 2015.
Past
service from all hotels was excellent. The addition of Omni as a new
host hotel will provide a new and modern twist to our team of friendly
partners.
Surrounding areas are fun and safe, with many things
to do. This will only get better as downtown Nashville
grows.”
