Music City Soul Series
Music City Celebrates Black History Month with an all-star evening of music. Music City Honored The Fisk Jubilee Singers in February 2013, with a Soul Series Benefit Concert featuring special guests The Fisk Jubilee Singers, Michael McDonald, Wynonna, Amy Grant, THE FARM, and hosted by three-time Grammy Award Winner Keb’ Mo’. The event raised over $15,000. 2014 promises to be just as exciting.

Music City July 4th: Let Freedom Sing!
In 2012, Music City's signature July 4th celebration "Let Freedom Sing!" event saw more than 155,000 festival-goers by extending the campus past Riverfront Park. The event is fun for the entire family. The Family Fun Zone features entertainment, inflatables, arts and crafts. The main stage features more than six hours of live music from Country, to Rock and the Grammy®-winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra (NSO).
Nashville continues to be among the top 10 destinations in the United States for Independence Day fireworks and has one of the only fireworks show in the world choreographed to live music. The crowd was not disappointed when the magnificent 25-minute fireworks display lit up the skies of city.

Music City Connection: Heroes Behind the Hits
Music City Connection: Heroes Behind the Hits is a radio show recorded and produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau and broadcast exclusively by Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. Shows will also be featured on Music City Radio 24/7.
This two-hour show is taped live before audiences at various Nashville venues each month, the series presents songwriters of all genres during an informal "in-the-round" showcase, performing their hits, revealing their influences and sharing their personal stories of writing, recording and living in Music City. Songwriting Competition
The sixth annual Music City Songwriting Competition conducts a world-wide search for the best original song. The competition begins Fall and runs through Winter. This program has received nearly 7,000 entries and over $6 million in media value. Each year an established artist (past artists include: Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, Josh Turner, and Craig Morgan) hosts the competition and songs are judged by a panel of industry professionals.

Music City Walk Of Fame
The Music City Walk of Fame, created in the fall of 2006 on Nashville’s Music Mile, is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville and have contributed to the world through song or other industry collaboration. The Walk of Fame features 60 star-and-guitar medallions and is located on the Music Mile in downtown Nashville in the Walk of Fame Park.
The Music City Walk of Fame is an official project of Music City, Inc., the charitable foundation of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau.

New Year’s Eve: Bash On Broadway
The fourth annual Bash On Broadway in downtown Nashville celebrated ringing in the new year with over 50,000 people on a rainy December evening.
The Event features over five hours of live musical performances. On the countdown to midnight, a dazzling fireworks display erupted off the roof tops up Broadway to Fifth Avenue, fifty pounds of confetti floated overhead as the music note dropped and a champagne toast had the crowd cheering!
