PEG LEG PORKER LAUNCHES FEEVER LIQUEUR - CITRUS FLAVORED SHOT SPIRIT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Nov. 18, 2016) – Veteran Pitmaster Carey Bringle, otherwise known as the Peg Leg Porker, announced the launch of his new citrus flavored spirit, Feever today.
The flavor profile comes from citrus flavoring added to neutral grain spirits to create a sippable or shootable spirit reminiscent of Tennessee favorites like Mountain Dew, Sundrop or Mello Yellow.
Carey Bringle, the Peg Leg Porker, says he teamed up with local tattoo artist Marty McEwen of Black 13 Tattoo to create a unique and fun logo that gets the attention of drinkers.
“We are excited to launch Feever into our lifestyle brand,” says Bringle. “Our fans have come to know and love our brand and Feever gives them a delicious alternative to other shots like Fireball or Jäger. Feever is best served cold and perfect for bars filled with bachelorette and bachelor parties. It’s also a big hit at tailgate parties.”
Nashville’s Best Brands will distribute the new 69 proof Feever across the state. The initial run will be 1200 cases and distributed first in Tennessee, then nationwide. Retail price is $15.99 for a 750 ml bottle. You can find Feever at liquor stores throughout Tennessee and at your favorite bars.
Feever joins the line of Peg Leg Porker brands, including his eight-year old Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey that won a Gold Medal in the San Francisco Sprits competition this year. Last year, Peg Leg Porker introduced the “Pork and Stormy” cocktail mixing ½ parts Peg Leg Porker Bourbon and ½ parts Barritts Ginger Beer with a splash of lime.
